Ethics & Duty of care:
We always conduct our services honestly and honourably. Our actions and advice will always conform to relevant law, and we believe that all businesses and organizations, including this service, should avoid causing any adverse effect on the human rights of people in the organizations we deal with, the local and wider environments, and the well-being of society at large.
We are paid a finder's commission based on a percentage of the value of the estate, percentage to be agreed by the beneficiaries and ourselves. We DO NOT increase the arranged percentage for larger estates or under any circumstances. This percentage is payable to us by the estate's administrator at the time of distribution to beneficiaries. We DO NOT ask for any other fees or expenses from beneficiaries or potential beneficiaries and no monies will be paid to us, or requested by us to be paid, prior to distribution of the estate by the estate's appointed administrator.
Data Protection of the deceased:
To protect the identity and any personal information relating to the deceased, we will not release any information about the deceased until a relationship is proven between the deceased and any potential beneficiaries. When the estate is administered you with be provided with a copy of the family tree detailing your relationship to the deceased and a copy of all of our notes relating to the case. You will be provided with this information at no extra cost.
